Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Assist in the preparation of management reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Assist in the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.

Monitor budget performance and provide analysis on variances.

Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and support.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Collaborate with operations management to support financial decision-making.

Provide financial insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related

At least 3-5 years of related experience

Strong ERP and excel skills
