The Quality Assurance Associate will assist with the daily operations of the quality team. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Coordinator.
In This Role
  • Perform product inspections, take photos, and enter data on findings using the warehouse management system, computers, and tablets
  • Identify product issues like splitting, broken items, finish defects, dents, scratches, color discrepancies, material flaws, and packaging problems
  • Use inventory barcode scanners
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, touch-up materials, packaging, tape guns, and cleaning materials daily
  • Move products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts/pickers
  • Unpack and repack products to their original condition
  • Conduct product rework
  • Correspond through Outlook Email
  • Unload and load containers or trailers as needed 
  • Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
  • Other tasks as defined by Management

The Ideal Person
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day without assistance and maneuver and lift up to 225 lbs repeatedly with assistance
  • Ability to operate manual and electric material handling equipment, such as hand jacks
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching in a warehouse environment
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred, but not required; must have the ability to be trained
  • Ability to identify items on all paperwork including customer orders and labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of lading 
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
  • Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours
