Job DescriptionJob Description

This busy medical practice is looking for a highly-organized, outgoing and friendly person to serve as a Patient Intake Coordinator. Candidates must have a positive and professional demeanor and enjoy answering phones. This position is primarily responsible for answering a multi-line phone system and supporting the practices front desk staff. Over time this position will be trained to work at the front desk performing check-in/check-out and related duties.

Specific duties to be performed by the Patient Intake Coordinator include:

· Answering phones

· Directing calls to front and back office staff as needed

· Scheduling appointments

· Answering patient questions

· Other duties as requested

Applicants must have:

· A minimum of two years of medical practice experience

· Proficient computer skills

· Strong communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

· Excellent patient relations and customer service skills

· Team player
