Job description:

The Collection Specialist is a key leadership role within our organisation, responsible for driving collection growth, managing sales teams, and developing strategies to achieve revenue targets. This position plays a critical role in shaping the company's collEction & sales direction and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Collection Strategy: Develop and implement collection strategies and objectives that align with the company's business goals. • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage collection teams, including setting performance targets and conducting regular evaluations. • Collection Training: Provide training and mentorship to collection staff to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills. • Collection Planning: Create collection plans, forecasts, and budgets, and monitor progress toward collection targets. • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Collection Performance Analysis: Analyse collection data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition. • Collection Collateral: Develop and ensure the availability of effective collection collateral, presentations, and materials. • Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with pricing teams to set competitive pricing strategies. • Collection Reporting: Provide regular reports on collection performance, key metrics, and forecasts to senior management. • Collection Channels: Manage and develop collection channels, including direct collection, partnerships, and distribution networks. • Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies to expand the customer base. • Collection Promotions: Plan and implement collection promotions, incentives, and marketing campaigns. • Collection Negotiation: Participate in complex collection negotiations and contracts. • Collection Forecasting: Accurately forecast collection revenues and inventory requirements. • Compliance: Ensure collection activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement collection process enhancements. • Customer Feedback: Collect and incorporate customer feedback to enhance products and services. • Collection Events: Coordinate and participate in collection events, trade shows, and exhibitions. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to achieve collection objectives. Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). • Proven experience in collection management and leadership roles, with a track record of achieving collection targets. • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse collection data and make data-backed decisions. • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer behaviour’s. • Ethical and values-driven leadership. • Experience with collection CRM software and collection analytics tools. Type: This is a remote executive position with regular business hours, but flexibility may be required based on collection needs and responsibilities. Requirements

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven track record in collection, sales and customer relationship management

• Strong knowledge of the boat and yacht industry, including different types of vessels and their features

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for boating and yachting with a keen eye for detail

4. Attending trade shows and events to increase collection, sales and connect with potential customers

5. Delivering collection, sales pitches and negotiating deals with clients

6. Creating and executing marketing campaigns to attract new customers

7. Researching the market to identify trends and opportunities in the boat/yacht industry

8. Working with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and advertisements

9. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
