Position Details
(Hybrid workstyle)

Provide quality interventions that will actively mitigate health and behavior health risks and promote wellbeing for LGBTQI+ youth and families. Services are delivered in Kent and Ottawa Counties. Responsibilities and service delivery include: assessment, individual, group and family counseling as well as strategic community engagement activities to raise awareness and acceptance. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and evidence-based research. Completing administrative tasks as assigned on a weekly basis. As a clinician, having an openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position/organization.


Position Requirements:

  • Prior experience (worked or lived) within LGBTQIA+ Community
  • Masters Degree in social work or related field
  • State License (LMSW / LLMSW / LPC etc.) required. (Full licensure preferred)
  • Bilingual / Spanish preferred
  • Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance and Clean driving record
  • Prior community-based work experience
