Manasseh Anti-trafficking Clinician

This position is funded in part by a federal VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) grant and will provide treatment for victims of human trafficking and exploitation. The Clinician provides leadership in the ongoing development of the program’s mission to end exploitation through education, advocacy, and clinical care.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Public Awareness/Education**
- Facilitate public awareness and professional education events; provide trainings related to prevention, treatment, awareness, and education
- Organize campaign awareness strategies; participate in local community events
- Plan and lead an annual conference (as part of a multiyear strategic plan)
- Create social networking opportunities for the public

**Advocacy**
- Participate and offer leadership at community human trafficking coalitions, task force, initiatives, and local community advocacy groups.
- Engage in local/state decision making bodies and influence policy shifts and changes
- Attend state-wide conferences for networking and development of best practices
- Provide resources for local providers working with trafficked individuals; provide resources for victims and families of victims
- Pursue connections with other local service organizations (law enforcement, medical, social work)
- Network with service providers across the USA who work with this population

**Administration, Management, and Communication**

- Responsible for timely Quality Assurance compliance as related to employee’s roles and functions.
- Develop actionable strategic plan for future direction of Manasseh Program
- Participate in regular supervision meetings
- Provide oversight /supervision to interns and volunteers
- Participate in agency budgets, planning and policy development including COA standards
- Serve as a public relations representative for the agency
- Partner with Advancement for marketing and other funding opportunities
- Participate in monthly business reviews, provide quarterly summary reports, provide relevant and accurate data descriptive of Manasseh’s scope and reach
- Establish priorities for program activities

**Clinical Care**
- Serve as the initial point of contact at adolescent drop-in center, engaging youth in conversation and providing youth with information on suggested resources targeted to their issues.
- Provide individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults who are suspected or confirmed victims and survivors of human trafficking.
- Serve as the primary clinician to develop a person-centered treatment plan that focuses on addressing the needs of the client and engaging the family, when applicable.
- Complete all service plans, contact records, and all other necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Develop service plans, discharge summaries, progress notes, and other documents as required by contract.
- Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, therapist meetings, and any others as deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Represent Wedgwood’s mission and vision with community partners. Exercise excellence and integrity as the job requirements are fulfilled.
- Compile assessment and survey results and write summaries of program activities and client success stories.
- Be a liaison for ongoing educational resources and services.
- Assure evaluations with participants (pre/post testing, focus groups and satisfaction surveys) occur according to the program proposal.
- Complete necessary paperwork, i.e. attendance records, daily summaries, etc. as required by program.
- Market programs to potential collaborative partners, schools and/or volunteers. Participate in community expos.
- Assist with identifying potential program leaders and participants; contact identified individuals, to encourage interest and to enroll them in the program.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations and coalitions.

Professional Growth
- Possess a working knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards and work with other disciplines to assure compliance with such standards.
- Utilize educational opportunities and resources offered by the agency and through the profession for continued development of skills and clinical expertise, (conferences, in-services, clinician/consultant meetings, resource groups etc.)

Residential Support and Wedgwood Engagement
- Participate in Residential Peer Support Meeting to enhance clinical skills and modalities
- Provide support to clients on an as needed basis
- Share community resources with Wedgwood’s Residential Transition Coordinator working with discharged clients
- Promote best practice, evidence-based treatment within the program
- Provide prevention and awareness trainings to WW staff through the WW Institutes; offer trainings to Wedgwood programs (SUD, Res Clinicians, etc.) as requested
- Provide insight into risk management areas to staff working with this population
