As a CBO Coordination & Billing Specialist at Kingston, your responsibilities will encompass a range of essential duties, including:

  • Tracking daily census and payer types, utilizing MITS and Mycare Ohio portal.
  • Verification of insurance for all payer types, including Medicare, Medicaid, Mycare, and Managed Care, among others.
  • Collecting, following up, and billing for Private Pay, Medicaid (including Mycare Medicaid plans), Medicare Replacement, and Commercial insurance.
  • Familiarity with various insurance portals, including navinet, optum, provider gateway, mns, caresource, and availity.
  • Assisting families and residents to complete and follow through on the Medicaid application process.
  • Timely and thorough posting and tracking of cash receipts, which entails importing electronic payment files and uploading electronic EOBs, ancillaries, and month-end procedures.
  • Prior experience with Point Click Care and Excel is advantageous.
