Job DescriptionJob Description

The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Williamsport is seeking a customer oriented Front Desk Representative for our hotel located on Maynard Street in Williamsport. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to the needs of our guests while providing outstanding guest service.

Essential Job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responding to guest requests and inquiries
  • Welcome guest upon arrival and check-in according to established standards and procedures
  • Communicate hotel facilities and services to all guests
  • Provide information on the local area and points of interest
  • Assist guests with arrivals and departures.
  • Answer the front desk phone, transfer calls
  • Post all charges, update folios, balance credit cards, charges and cash
  • Project a courteous and hospitable attitude at all times
  • Be familiar with all room types, and rates in the hotel and upsell
  • Stock and organize “The Market”
  • Responsible for overall security, conduct security walks
  • Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts & nightly audits

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Must be capable of accurately handling money.
  • Reading, math, and communication skills.
  • Shifts are primarily 7a-3p, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am as needed. Weekends and holidays are required. Fexibility needed
  • Full-time position available
  • Adhere to brand and company standards.
