Emergency Management & CBRN Specialist 
This is a HYBRID REMOTE position. 

Provides emergency management/chemical biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive subject matter expertise to the MAA and MA Program Office.

In this role you will….
  • Participate in the pre-assessment coordination, MAA onsite, report development and Mission Assurance protection program related request for information.
  • Must have familiarity with Mission Assurance/emergency management and CBRNE applicable policy, standards, and benchmarks.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance requirement.
  • Provide technical support to the emergency management and CBRNE program.
  • Provide recommendations for improving emergency management functions on military installations.
  • Analyze and evaluate risk assessment processes and provide recommendations for improvement of Emergency Management capability gaps. M9549424R0009 Page 43 of 104 •
  • Draft briefs for internal and external use on emergency management topics.
  • Develop schedules, reports, plan of action and milestones.
  • Identify protection related deficiencies at installations/facilities listed under Section 6.0 through the program review process ensuring the protection of personnel and organizational assets for this task.
  • Provide technical support to conduct trend and impact analyses of CBRNE threats that may affect HQMC. The analyses should include the methodologies used to determine the probability of each event.
    Provide recommendations for improving CBRNE protection functions on military installations. • Analyze and evaluate risk assessment processes and provide recommendations for improvement of CBRNE capability gaps.
  • Draft briefs for internal and external use on CBRNE topics.
  • Develop schedules, reports, plan of action and milestones.
  • Identify deficiencies at installations through the program review process ensuring the protection of personnel and organizational assets for this task
Experience Requirements:
  • Five (5) years or more of DoD experience in Emergency Management, CBRNE and mission planning, active duty, civilian or contractor
  • Five (5) years or more desired experience executing higher headquarters Marine Corps MA program reviews and installation level MA assessments
  • CAMS Training or equivalent Asset and Risk Management Program Experience
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS SCI level clearance.
Other Requirements:
  • Required travel minimum 50% of the time
  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
This position is contingent on funding.
