Position Summary:

The Department of Allied Health Sciences at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (www.acphs.edu) is seeking qualified candidates for part-time instructor level positions to teach the following courses:

  • Principles of Communication (3 credits; undergraduate level)
  • Health Campaigns (3 credits; undergraduate level)
  • Ethics in Research (1 credit; graduate level)
  • Statistics For Public Health (3 credits, undergraduate level)

While in-person instruction is preferred, other instructional modalities (i.e., online, hybrid) will be considered based on the successful candidate’s availability. These positions will commence in the Fall of 2024.

Education and Experience:

Describe the minimum level of education required for the position and the amount of experience needed.

  • Applicants must have an MS or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Ideal candidates will have a documented interest in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level that includes prior independent teaching experience.

Instructor lead courses needed for 1 to 3 credits ($1,533-$4,600):

Course: $1,533 per credit hour
