Responsibilities:
- Review intake sessions to understand their career aspirations, work history, and key accomplishments.
- Craft compelling and personalized resumes and cover letters that align with each client's career goals and the requirements of their targeted industries.
- Optimize LinkedIn profiles to enhance clients' online presence and attractiveness to potential employers.
- Stay updated on the latest resume writing trends, job search technologies, and industry developments to provide top-tier services.
- Work collaboratively with clients to refine their documents and offer advice on effective job search strategies.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a relevant profession.
- CPRW Certification or other certification from a recognized resume writing association.
- 3 years of proven experience in resume writing, professional writing, or editing, evidenced by a strong portfolio of work.
- Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a meticulous approach to grammar, formatting, and style.
- A thorough understanding of various industries, job functions, and the nuances of the recruitment process.
- Excellent client service and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and SEO best practices is highly desirable.
