Club Car is hiring a Sales Leader to join the team. In this role, you will function as regional sales leader and will aggressively expand sales in the direct golf fleet sales using all applicable Club Car products and services. The role will develop, execute, and manage business plans to achieve Club Car's market share, revenue, and margin targets and identifies and pursues new opportunities to grow Club Car's golf, utility, technology, and services business.


Responsibilities:

1. Overall responsibility for the following functions: regional sales management, product sales within the assigned region, customer satisfaction, price management. Leading sales team to maximize account penetration, market penetration, customer retention, hiring and on-boarding of new sales associates, continued assessment of skills and administering necessary training, setting business objectives, accurate sales forecasting and consistent use of Club Car sales tools and systems.

2. Responsible for achieving Regional annual objectives regarding volume, margins, business mix, and share.

3. Lead a high-performance team and interact with regional sales managers with differing business development requirements, customer focus, experience, sales cycles, and product mix.

4. Manage ongoing performance of direct team by monitoring and coaching region territory sales manager(s) effectiveness and efficiency in relation to objective attainment, customer service, customer relationship development, and business profitability.

5. Thought leader, bringing bold growth ideas to the fleet golf markets. Working collaboratively with peers to drive innovative sales strategies and build systems of best practices.

6. Responsible for promoting participation in all Club Car programs and activities.

7. Supports Territory Sales Managers in the demonstration, promotion, and sales/leasing of all Club Car products to golf facilities and other vertical markets: resorts and hospitality, state and local governments while maintaining Club Car’s pricing integrity and keeping profit margins at or above assigned plan.

8. Manages the annual assessments of all assigned dealers utilizing the channel evaluation tool including creating action plans to close performance gaps.

9. Represents Club Car to the fleet golf market, making outside sales calls and exhibiting at trade shows. Working closely with all industry partners to leverage relationships and marketing opportunities.

10. Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and sales team as needed.

11. Develop and execute growth initiatives and programs.

12. Stays abreast of competitive issues in the market.

13. Regularly provides progress and financial reports to senior leadership team as required.

14. Performs all other related duties as required.


Qualifications:

  • Percentage of Travel: Approximately 50% - 60%
  • Education Standard: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: Sales Management experience preferred, minimum of (5) years sales experience, key account relationship development, business-to-business sales experience, managing a profit center.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
  • · DUI in the previous 5 years
  • · Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
