Sir Lines-A-Lot provides pavement markings on roads and parking lots throughout Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. We take pride in the quality of our work, value the safety of our employees, and work with integrity as a team. We have locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Iowa. The Fleet & Equipment Manager position will be in person at either our Edina, St. Michael, or Maple Lake location.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and is primarily responsible planning, organizing, coordinating, staffing, and directing the activities of the overall Fleet Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and management of the B2W maintain system.
  • Responsible for the control of inventory and maintenance of equipment.
  • Work with Lead Mechanics to determine equipment needs.
  • Ensure fleet departments are operating according to company standards.
  • Regular maintenance on vehicles is scheduled, DVIR reporting completed, and repairs documented.
  • Manage vehicle license and registration process.
  • Vehicle performance monitoring, record keeping, and improvement.
  • Maintain all vehicle information and inspection records.
  • Providing reports to Leadership regarding budgeting, performance, maintenance, and fleet progress.
  • Partner with Environmental Health & Safety Lead to ensure employee safety and compliance.
  • Procure vehicles, whether through lease, purchase, or other means, according to company requirements.
  • Secure the fleet's compliance and reporting with all regulatory agencies and statutes.
  • Develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in Fleet management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CDL Class A Preferred
  • Demonstrated success in juggling competing priorities and tasks.
  • Proficient in Excel.
