Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer Camp Teacher to join our team for the summer season. As a Summer Camp Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to facilitate daily activities, implement engaging lessons, and ensure the safety and well-being of all campers. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in our community.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and organizing daily camp activities and events.
  • Implement age-appropriate lessons and educational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Supervise and engage with campers during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Safely transport campers to and from field trip locations using a designated school bus.
  • Drive the school bus in a responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including setting up and cleaning up activity areas.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to provide updates and ensure a positive camp experience for all.
Qualifications:


  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
