We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to support our commercial & federal clients. Our ideal candidate is passionate about recommending objectives to upper management and developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, resources, and milestones for ERP environments. In this role, you will help guide organizations through a successful vendor agnostic process and will leverage your own knowledge base.

The ideal candidate is comfortable leading teams in resolution of critical technical problems, some of complex scope, where time is of the essence. This leadership role requires considerable and cumulative breadth of knowledge and understanding of business management consulting and ERP initiatives to enable that core business strategy. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and successful on-going account management.

Position: IT Project Manager

Location: Tulsa, OK (On-site)

*This role is contingent upon contract award

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise IT projects, including cloud computing, business applications and ERP-based systems for the Aerospace & Defense sector.
  • Perform lead oversight on the whole life cycle of ERP deployment/development projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Analyze business/technical requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide client recommendations.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, budgets and communicate with organizational sponsors to deliver on time and within budget deliverables.
  • Document all technical activities including the creation of design documents, technical specifications, process documentation, specification, system deployment documents, system integration and interface documents and publishing reports as necessary.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve defined project outputs.
  • Contribute to the client's thought leadership and business development efforts.
  • Manage both the "business transformation" and technical aspects of business operations.
  • Effectively train employees on the latest technical and business applications.
  • Drive quality, testing and delivery methodology processes to ensure successful transition and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for a U.S. Federal Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • 4+ years of proven experience as a Manager and/or PMP Certification is required.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • 2+ years of ERP software selection and implementation required, with extensive experience working with software vendors and software integrator.
  • Strong familiarity with government contracting, particularly with the Aerospace & Defense sector.
  • 3+ years of experience working with IFS, Oracle, SAP, Infor, Dynamics 365 or ERP related software technologies.
  • ERP industry experience required.
  • Experience managing positions on projects, including but not limited to: Business Analysts, Consultants, Senior Consultants.
