Job Summary
As a Sales and Marketing Representative, your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. You will contribute to the companys sales objectives. Responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships. In addition to designing and implementing a scalable local, regional, and national sales campaign, the Sales Representative will also aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers.

Responsibilities
  • As a door-knocking sales and marketing representative, your duties and responsibilities typically include
  • Prospecting: Identifying potential customers or clients by knocking on doors in assigned territories or neighborhoods.
  • Introducing Products or Services: Presenting and explaining the features and benefits of your company's products or services to potential customers.
  • Building Relationships: Establishing rapport and building trust with homeowners or business owners to create a positive impression of your company.
  • Handling Objections: Addressing concerns and objections raised by potential customers and persuading them of the value of your offering.
  • Closing Sales: Converting interested prospects into customers by completing sales transactions or scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Collecting Feedback: Gathering feedback from potential customers to understand their needs and preferences, which can inform future marketing strategies.
  • Recording Data: Maintaining accurate records of sales visits, customer interactions, and sales transactions using CRM software or other tools.
  • Meeting Sales Goals: Working towards achieving or exceeding sales targets and objectives set by the sales manager or company leadership.
  • Staying Informed: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position your company's offerings.
  • Following Up: Following up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and potentially secure referrals or additional sales opportunities.
  • Adhering to Policies and Guidelines: Following company policies, guidelines, and ethical standards in all interactions with potential customers.
  • Self-Management: Managing your time effectively to maximize productivity during door-knocking sessions and maintaining a positive attitude in the face of rejection.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seeking feedback and training opportunities to improve your sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a sales and/or marketing
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field (Preferred)
