What's your day like?As a Full Time, Crew Leader at Southern Tier Industries, you will take on a crucial role in the pickup and delivery of materials and products. Your responsibilities will include unloading and inventorying incoming goods, as well as assisting with loading outgoing materials onto trailer trucks in a safe and organized manner. You will ensure that our warehouse space is maintained to professional standards, prioritizing cleanliness and safety.
This position also involves managing shipping and receiving tasks, overseeing inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service, both in-person and over the phone. Additionally, you'll assist in supervising shredding operations and ensure compliance with Department Guidelines and NAID regulations. With a flexible schedule, you'll support other business services departments as needed, contributing to a dynamic team environment.

What matters mostTo excel as a Full Time Crew Leader at Southern Tier Industries, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, A valid/Clean Driver's License is required and you must be able to pass the NYS DOT Physical, along with strong physical abilities to lift, manipulate, and carry materials as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as you may be required to assist other departments in meeting various operational demands. Proficiency in basic computer skills is necessary for managing paperwork and inventory tasks efficiently.
