As a vital member of our team, you will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Your role will encompass patient guidance and instruction in therapeutic exercises, spinal decompression, cryotherapy, manual therapy, and corrective rehabilitation. While experience is preferred, we believe in the potential of the right person and are committed to providing comprehensive training.

Job Summary

Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Duties include patient guidance and instruction with therapeutic exercises, and other modalities such as spinal decompression, laser therapy, cryotherapy, manual therapy, and corrective rehabilitation. Experience is preferred, but if you are the right person, we will train you.

A depth of experience and understanding of Chiropractic is also preferred. Applicants must have the ability to connect with patients in a personal yet professional way, enabling them to receive the best care possible. This role requires an efficient multi-tasker who is responsible and fully engaged in the growth of the practice. Nonsmoking and health-conscious individuals are preferred.

A competitive salary is offered based on talent and experience. The position is full-time and non-exempt, with benefits including chiropractic care, healthcare, and paid time off based on the duration of employment.

General Accountabilities
  • Patient Guidance: Provide personalized instruction and support in therapeutic exercises and modalities, ensuring each patient feels empowered and understood.
  • Clinical Duties: Assist with spinal decompression, cryotherapy, manual therapy, corrective rehabilitation, and laser therapy, delivering high-quality care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Efficiently manage administrative duties, contributing to the smooth operation and growth of our practice.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly within the Nexus team, fostering a collaborative environment that delivers the best possible patient care.
  • Patient Connection: Build strong, personal yet professional relationships with patients, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Tasks and Physical Demands

Please note that the tasks represent a general list of responsibilities, but are not exhaustive. Duties and responsibilities may change as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the practice.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently
  • Frequently sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch
  • Comfortable educating, communicating
  • Prepare treatment rooms
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, taking notes
  • Greet and log in patients arriving
  • Schedule appointments
  • Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities - such as non-manual exercises, daily-living activities.
  • Instruct and counsel patients by describing regiments, giving normal growth and development information, promoting wellness and health maintenance
  • Maintains safe and clean working space by adhering to policies and procedures
