Responsibilities

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Participates in all required safety meetings.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Directs the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, i.e., unusual problems or questions and explains procedures to assistant.

Qualifications

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Ability to use frame machine.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Certification in body repair preferred.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 I-CAR welding certified.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Ability to supervise repair personnel.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa2 Must be able to pass thorough background check
