Host/Hostess, Denver


Lob is a brand-new, wildly fun bocce-golf game that anyone you roll with can play. Add locally infused craft food and drinks for the ultimate night out. We’re on the lookout for energetic, personable, and engaging individuals to join our team as Host/Hostess (aka Lob Pro).

You’ll be the face of Lob Denver—welcoming guests with genuine hospitality, introducing them to the most exciting new game in town, managing reservations with ease, and capturing the vibe for our social media. Your role is all about creating unforgettable experiences and making sure every guest feels like a winner.

Requirements:

Specific Accountabilities

  • • Set the tone for guests by warmly welcoming them as they arrive.
  • • Live the Lob values and contribute positively to our culture.
  • • Introduce the game of Lob to first-time players.
  • • Manage tee times and help move groups through the course.
  • • Create a fun atmosphere by celebrating wins with the players and rewarding them in unique ways.
  • • Capture the vibe for our social media channels.
  • • Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure seamless service.
  • • Efficiently handle reservation inquiries and confirmations.
  • • Manage and track game play and table reservations in reservation management software.
  • • Monitor the flow of the dining room and adjust as needed.
  • • Accommodate special requests and preferences whenever possible.
  • • Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu, game play venue policies and special requests.
  • • Handle guest concerns and feedback professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
  • • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • • Keep track of waiting guests and update them on estimated wait times.
  • • Contribute to an environment that is warm, welcoming and fun for guests and fellow employees.
  • • Execute standard operating procedures. Continually seeking improvements.
  • • Must be able to handle change well and adjust to new circumstances with a helpful attitude.
  • • Can manage several tasks and requests at once.
  • • Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience


• Highly motivated and very hands on.

• High emotional intelligence with the ability to easily connect with people.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.

• Familiarity with reservations systems and quick to learn new software.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role a plus.

• English proficiency required. Additional languages are beneficial.

Working Conditions

This position involves moving around and standing for extended periods and may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
