Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. As an NP, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients across the lifespan, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a variety of healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide primary and/or specialty care services, including health maintenance exams, preventive screenings, vaccinations, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatment modalities based on evidence-based practice guidelines, patient needs, and state regulations.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests as indicated by patient condition and clinical guidelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to promote wellness and prevent complications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including consultations with specialists, referrals, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical notes using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and practice.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANPCP), or other recognized certifying body.
  • Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or eligibility for state licensure.
  • Proven experience as an NP in primary care, specialty practice, or a related healthcare setting preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in primary and/or specialty care management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in nursing practice.
