Canon Copier Production Field Service Technician

What We Do

Our Production Field Service Technicians are equipped with excellent customer service skills, mechanical skills, and basic electronics knowledge to care for Datamax’s steadily growing customer base Our Production Field Service Technicians spend their days visiting customer sites around the DFW Metroplex to service, repair and maintain Canon, Oce and/or other print production equipment. Our Production Field Service Technicians effectively communicate with customers about technical and non-technical information regarding their equipment in a clear and friendly manner.

We at Datamax want our technicians to succeed so we arm our Field Service Technicians with the necessary training, tools and parts to meet their personal and career goals Our Field Service Technicians have been so successful that Datamax has been honored to be the only independent Canon Solution Provider in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex to achieve ATSP National Service Recognition Award for the last 17 years

Who We Are Looking For

Below are some traits that make some great long-term Technicians

Technical:

  • Strong electromechanical and mechanical aptitude, basic electronics knowledge, and information technology (IT) networking knowledge is desired.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and IT problems
  • Strong Computer Literacy
  • Previous Experience and/or Certifications with Canon and/or HP is a plus
  • Technical degree or equivalent is a plus

  • Ability to work Independently and With a Team (Works well with others)
  • Strong personality skills to communicate effectively with customers and others
