Job Description:

  • Seeking a strong Senior Systems Engineer to build out technical services in Microsoft Azure and some technical work in on-premise data centers.
  • (90%) Engineer will build, deploy or fine-tune Microsoft Azure services for internal customers around the globe.
  • The main duties include understanding user requirements, designing technical components and deploying solutions in the Azure cloud space.
  • (10%) Using VMWare ESXi: Engineer will build new Windows server and Windows 10 systems in some corporate on-premise data centers.
  • Secondly, engineer will help migrate selected Azure-based Windows Server platforms to VMWare ESXi.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a variety of Azure-based solutions using cloud automation frameworks (Terraform, Github)
  • Build Windows Servers and Windows 10 systems on VMWare ESXi (on-premise)
  • Understand functional requirements, implement solutions and ensure solutions conform to best practice design.
  • Solutions must adhere to company security requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize work?balancing IT operations work with strategic engineering work
  • Strong communication and team-working skills.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and handle critical/priority incidents when paged
  • Must be a self-starter, have a pro-active and cooperative attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a globally-distributed environment?with onshore and off-shore teams.
  • Operational support for GoAnywhere managed file transfer platform (MFT).
