POSITION SUMMARY: Under regular supervision performs support functions in the Lending department. Follows up on loan approvals by calling members and collecting stipulations needed to fund loans. Funds loans via remote signature, fax or branch appointment. Provides professional and efficient member service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Maintains a working knowledge of lending regulations such as the FACT Act, Regs B & Z.
  • Answers member inquiries and assists with loan related questions regarding rates, terms and credit union policies and procedures.
  • Interacts with dealerships to collect needed auto loan information as needed for funding.
  • Collects and enters auto loan structures to insure loan is within approved advance. Obtains KBB information using VIN and updates in computer.
  • Collects proof of income and has the ability to calculate paystubs to insure debt ratio is within lending guidelines
  • Prepares loan documents needed for loan signing via fax or e-signature.

ASSOCIATE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Consistently practices the Service Philosophy of “Put People First” exercising the Connect, Discover, Deliver & Wow components in every encounter with internal and external members, creating extraordinary experiences.
  • Sells and promotes credit union products and services to new and existing members contributing to the achievement of individual, branch, and credit union goals.
  • Non-member service positions: Possesses knowledge of, and complies with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  • Complies with all Orange County’s Credit Union policies, service standards, safety standards, procedural guidelines, and regulatory compliance, and completes all assigned training.

QUALI FICATIONS:

Experience/ Training/ Education:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 2 years relevant work experience in a lending environment which would provide a thorough knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.

Base Pay Range:

The targeted hourly range is $20.75 per hour to $26.00 per hour. Final offer will be determined based on experience, education, training/certifications and specialized skills.
