We are seeking to fill a full-time Supplier Quality Engineer job based out of Danbury, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased raw materials and components supplied by external vendors. You will evaluate, monitor, and improve the quality of materials used in manufacturing and development processes for energy-efficient control systems.

Supplier Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
  • Assess potential suppliers in the Americas region to ensure they meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and implement quality standards and processes for purchased materials that suppliers must follow, ensuring these standards are available for in-house verification procedures.
  • Conduct scheduled audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed-upon quality standards and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in industrial manufacturing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on product and process quality.
  • High degree of data analysis skills.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and software products such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and cloud-based applications.
