Essential Functions:

  • Leads kick-off and project requirement meetings.
  • Performs electrical design, programming, and checkout of automated test, assembly, and manufacturing systems.
  • Leads the start up, commissioning and training for the project – which may include travel to the customer location.
  • Supports on-site field service and emergency calls.
  • Gives technical guidance to less experienced engineers or technicians assigned to work on a common project.

Requirements:


  • 2 years education in automation related coursework and 4 years of work-related experience OR 4 year degree in electrical or related field of engineering and 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in writing PLC code from scratch.
  • Proficiency in Outlook/Microsoft Office products.
  • Hold valid driver’s license with ability to drive to client sites.

Preferred Experiences:

  • Significant Rockwell PLC and HMI experience with manufacturing systems
