Job Title: Experienced Survey CAD Technician

Location: Littleton, CO

Compensation: $26 - $35 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join our team in Littleton. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Professional Surveyors to facilitate CAD production, conduct survey research, analyze boundaries, prepare exhibits and legal descriptions, and perform survey computations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Professional Surveyors in CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, legal description preparation, and survey computations.
  • Process raw field data using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D software.
  • Conduct quality assurance/quality control checks.
  • Coordinate effectively with field crews and other office personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with divisional, regional, and company values, policies, and practices in survey services.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating sound judgment, integrity, trustworthiness, openness, and professionalism.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, exhibit and legal description preparation, plat preparation, and field crew coordination.
  • Competence in operating AutoCAD Civil 3D for production tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, facilitate project coordination, and collaborate with other design services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • SIT or CST Certification, or eligibility for Professional Surveyor certification.
  • Experience in drafting Wind, Solar, and Power Delivery projects.
  • Previous experience in coordinating activities with office personnel, including surveying technicians and engineering staff.
