Job Title: Social Media Specialist


Job Summary:

Rocket55 is on the lookout for a dynamic Social Media Specialist with a knack for digital storytelling and a passion for community engagement. This role requires the successful candidate to manage and enhance the social media presence of our clients across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, scheduling posts, analyzing social media trends, and interacting with online communities to foster growth and enhance brand loyalty.


Responsibilities:

  • Schedules and manages content across various social platforms, ensuring a consistent and strategic brand presence.
  • Engages with online communities by responding to comments, participating in discussions, and fostering a positive environment to increase follower base and engagement.
  • Manually posts time-sensitive content as required, ensuring timely participation in relevant social trends and conversations.
  • Assists in the creation of visually appealing and effective social media content, including text, images, and basic video content.
  • Continuously researches and implements the latest social media trends and technologies to maintain and expand the social media strategy.
  • Analyzes performance data from social media platforms to refine tactics and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborates closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing approach.
  • Provides strategic direction for clients when appropriate.
Requirements:

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Proficiency in major social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Exceptional creative skills with the ability to craft engaging content.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, capable of crafting engaging and grammatically correct content and messages.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, allowing for the management of multiple social media accounts across different platforms and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Sharp attention to detail efficiently and effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data to drive decisions.
  • Experience in graphic design and familiarity with design tools such as Canva.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with influencer marketing and community management.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
  • Understanding of social media scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or HootSuite.
