Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion Infection Control: Lead and coordinate infection control programs across our campuses, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with residents, nursing staff, and facility management to uphold the highest standards of infection prevention.
  • Data and Reporting: Oversee NHSN reporting and develop tracking tools to monitor infection control effectiveness.
  • Educate and Train: Provide essential education and training on infection control to all disciplines, enhancing our team’s capabilities.
  • Support and Advise: Be the go-to expert for infection control queries and support investigation and response to outbreaks.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse: Must be licensed in Indiana & Ohio with previous Long Term Care experience.
  • Certification Required: Infection Preventionist certification needed within 90 days of hire.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of infection control practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and guide staff.
