Mako Industries is hiring for an Administrative Clerk to assist in our Commercial and Industrial Division.

  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, database and basic accounting software
  • Accurate and efficient typing skills for data entry, taking minutes and dictations, answering emails and typing letters and other documents
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Heavy Data Entry
  • Customer service for dealing with clients, vendors, and management.
  • Locating the best materials to perform job within the electrical sector for service/repair work orders.
  • Organization and ability to multitask for filing and completing several clerical and administrative tasks at once
  • Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, such as taking sufficiently detailed minutes and telephone messages
  • Integrity and discretion when working with sensitive customer details
  • Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders and addressing complaints
  • Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to follow up on service request, delivery, and updating information based on work order.
  • Compiling, maintaining and updating client and vendor information
  • Compiling and maintaining records of office business transactions (expense report to be allocated to jobs).
  • Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments
Requirements:


  • Previous experience with administrative role
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to use word processing applications and document management software with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
  • Ability to prepare stock inventory and process expense reports
  • Microsoft office, Excel
  • Bilingual a plus
