Job DescriptionJob Description

Tasty Beverage Company is seeking a customer-focused individual with retail experience and a passion for beer and wine to join our team as a Store Associate/Beertender. Raleigh’s original bottle shop and multi-year “Best of the Triangle” winner offers one of the best retail beer selections in the area and a stellar rotating draft list for those looking to imbibe onsite. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for customers and employees alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment by building rapport with customers and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Answer customer questions and make recommendations based on customer tastes and preferences.
  • Stock, label, and inventory products.
  • Perform basic bartending duties (e.g., serving beer, wine, seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages).
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks.
  • Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
  • Process payments from customers.
  • Package and process online orders.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of craft beer, with previous experience bartending and/or serving at craft beer establishments.
  • Hospitable, outgoing, positive attitude.
  • Desire to take initiative.
  • General computer skills (OSX preferred).
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift at least 35-50 lbs.
  • 21+ years of age.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $22.00/hour.
