Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for industrial equipment to ensure peak performance.
  2. Develop logic and programming for PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems to optimize efficiency.
  3. Create SCADA and operator interface applications for seamless monitoring and control of systems.
  4. Develop custom computer programs and databases for PLC and SCADA interfaces to streamline data management.
  5. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, employing standard procedures for swift issue resolution.
  6. Produce project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD software for thorough documentation.
  7. Craft scopes of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems to guarantee project feasibility.
  8. Gain comprehensive knowledge of SCR systems, including fluid systems, metallurgy, and maintenance, to offer expert support.
  9. Assist in the on-site commissioning of SCR systems and share expertise with clients through training and presentations.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical or manufacturing industries, specializing in industrial processing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and drive systems.
  • CAD proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, HMI applications, computer programming, networking, and database management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay updated on technical knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
