We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Telemetry to join our team. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to provide specialized monitoring and care to patients with cardiac conditions and other serious medical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assess patients' conditions and document observations
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Respond to changes in patients' conditions and notify appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding cardiac health
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in Telemetry nursing practices and participate in continuing education
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Position Title: Renal/Neuro Tele RN

Part Time or Full Time: Full Time

Shift times and shift length: 1900-0700

Weekend requirement: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

On-call requirement: None

Holiday requirement: Required

Unit Description: Patient population: Stroke, TIA, Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Disease ? Average census and nurse to patient ratio: 3N:? Average Census 13, 3E:? Average Census 14 Beds per unit: 3N:? 26, 3E:? 16 Tech or equipment used on the unit: Alaris Infusion Pumps, Stryker Beds, Umano Beds, GE Wireless Telemetry, Masimo Roots with Patient Safety Net

Required Qualifications: BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience
