Requirements:

What you will be responsible for:

Aro Homes is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist who will ensure the plant has an accurate count of inventory. This position requires to be fully onsite at the plant located in Sacramento, CA.


What You’ll Do:

  • Leads the cycle count program and provides inventory reports as needed.
  • Leads kanban card development and submission.
  • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify and recommend items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Analyzes inventory reports to recommend items to the Design Team that need to be added or removed from the BOM.
  • Serves on the NetSuite Implementation team as needed.
  • Backs up the Receiving Tech as needed.
  • Assists with periodic physical inventory.
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills across the plant and across the Company as needed.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
  • Forklift operator certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
