The Finish Quality Inspector ensures the quality of the product leaving the Finish Department. This is accomplished by examining materials, following the standards and methods for inspection, rework and remake.
- Support the CARE values of the organization.
- Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.
- Inspect product for defects, specification deviations and monitors the production and flow of these products.
- Maintain and Document inspection results and records.
- Segregate non-conforming materials.
- Perform touch-ups on products that can be reworked on the spot.
- Return Product that is beyond the light touch-up work and confirm repairs pass inspection.
- Report product that is beyond repair and needs to be made.
- Follow up on product that was remade to make sure it flows through the process and is inspected.
- Communicate visual and dimensional quality standards and defects to line operators.
- Follow established company/department rules and regulations and maintain quality standard.
- Follow all legal regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Analyze customer drawings, prints, and specifications for finished product.
- Perform other duties as required or directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in geometric tolerances.
- Understand quality standards and practices.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer technology.
- PC skills, knowledge of MS office applications required.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Excellent decision-making abilities.
- Dexterity (able to stand, bend, reach and carry product to and from the factory floor.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
Working Relationship
Communication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates, and production floor workers. The Parts Wrapper works under the immediate supervision of the Production Supervisor.
PPE
Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times while on the production floor. Other PPE may be required.

Non-air-conditioned environments; hazardous materials such paints, stains, and solvents; machinery, conveyors, spray-booths, and drying racks.
