Summary/Objective

The Recruiter/H.R. Coordinator main function is to be able to positively impact the day-to-day quality for all our team members. Providing administrative support to the various departments, assisting the HR Administrator with recruiting candidates to fill open roles, terminations, training, and company education procedures for new or existing employees. Also aiding with payroll processing functions.

Essential Functions

Recruitment Support

  • Assist with job postings resume screening and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks and paperwork.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.

Employee Records Management

  • Maintain employee files and HR databases.
  • Process employee status changes and maintain accurate records.

Benefits Administration

  • Assist with benefits enrollment and address employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers for accurate administration.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with audits and reporting requirements.

Training and Development

  • Coordinate training sessions and track attendance.
  • Assist in the development of training materials.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues.

HR Projects

  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Prepare materials and help organize employee performance reviews


Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in HR or administrative role required.
  • Highly organized & detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Most importantly, must be personable and approachable.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full time status. Extended hours may be required based on the business need.

Travel

This role requires occasional travel.
