Job DescriptionJob Description

Engineers Construction, Inc. in Williston is seeking a Mechanic with proven experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment and heavy trucks.  Duties will include all aspects of equipment and truck maintenance and repairs.  Work will be mixed between shop and the road, with a fully outfitted service truck available. 

Technical skills should include a practical knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, diesel technology, drive train systems, suspension systems, and braking systems. A CDL driver license is preferred.   Fabrication experience and welding certifications are desirable. 

Applicant should have the ability to work unsupervised and should work well with others.   Good problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.   The applicant should also be organized, neat, and professional.

Location:              Williston, VT with possible travel throughout New England and eastern NY.

Rate of Pay:        $25 - $35 per hour. Overtime paid after 8 hours each day. 

Benefits:              Health & Dental Insurance available, 401k, Profit Sharing, Paid Holidays, Vacation.

Working Hrs:      45 to 60 hours per week typical.
