SMILE ISLAND PEDIATRIC AND ADULT DENTISTRY & Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics

is seeking a team member for the following position: 

  •  Position:       HR Recruiter
  • Schedule:        Part-Time (approximately 24 hours per week) 

Smile Island Pediatric & Adult Dental Group and Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics
have a long history of engaged, productive employees, and we’re looking for a HR Recruiter to continue that happy tradition. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, compensation, and  finding the right fit for each company to thrive. We are eager to find a recruiter who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.

Objectives of this Role
● Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving
HR existing and recommended systems and processes
● Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing
and conducting orientation and training programs
● Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR recruitment plans to fit with
the overall business direction
● Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high
quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to
the overall vision
● Build strong relationships with coworkers and new hires, fostering trust and promoting
collaboration
● Handle confidential matters with discretion
 

Skills and Qualifications

● 3+ years in recruitment
● Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
● Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
● Working knowledge of MS Office
 

Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working in recruitment 
● Detail-oriented and organizational nature
