Team Member: Cashier

Job Skills/Requirements:


The cashier position is vital to our business. We are here to help you succeed, but before you join our team there are a few basic requirements for the Cashier position.

Personality: Since our cashiers interact with all of our customers, we need cashiers who will be upbeat, polite, organized, and are there to help wherever needed. Also, being able to work quickly is essential for our cashier positions, since we serve a lot of students, faculty, and staff at both of our locations at Duke University daily.

Responsibilities: The cashier position has several responsibilities. In addition to taking payment for the orders, our cashiers need to be knowledgeable about our food so they can help the customers through the ordering process.

Education: All of our cashiers must be able to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers. Basic math skills are required for this job. Also, the ability to use computers and learn how to navigate our POS system is important.

Other: All of our cashiers must be at least 18 years old and be able to pass Duke Universitys background check.
