Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is looking for a Tax Administrator, who will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence, managing property tax invoices and overall support for the tax team.This position requires a full-time onsite presence in Rochester NY.

Responsibilities
  • Receives, identifies, and sorts all incoming tax mail daily
  • Monitor, track receipt, prepare payment and store notices and property tax bills
  • Maintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and procedures
  • E-file sales and use returns, ensuring all filings are done on a timely basis
  • Generate tax related forms such as W9 and exemptions certificate requests
  • Maintain customer tax exemption records ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Provide administrative support to various tax team members, as needed
  • Support the tax team, handling tasks such as courier arrangements and mail pickup

Qualifications
  • Degree or Certificate in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience in similar role
  • Requires a full-time onsite presence in Rochester NY
