Plant Mechanic

Now Hiring Plant Mechanic

Competitive salary, full-time, NO Weekends We are looking for a qualified Plant Mechanic with at least 3 years of experience to start ASAP.

If so, we may have a great opportunity for you A large company is in search of THREE individuals to fill a temp to hire opening for a Plant Mechanic in Durham, NC. This position works Monday - Friday from 6AM-230PM. It would be a plus if interested candidates had pneumatic/hydraulic and welding exposure.

Responsibilities of the Plant Mechanic:

  • Use specialized tools to repair and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, & other equipment.
  • Inspect, tests, & clean equipment to ensure that it is in proper working conditions.

Requirements of the Plant Mechanic:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean criminal background (unfortunately, no felony convictions)
  • Clean drug screening
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of machinery maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week

Experience:

  • Industrial maintenance: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
