Position Summary

The internship offers unique hands-on experience where you can utilize coursework and existing knowledge in an association environment. The intern will assist industry economists in data collection, interpretation, and analysis of construction/economic trends. The candidate will largely be responsible for two major projects throughout the program including: update of PCA's regional industry model, as well as gathering and compiling statistics for the North American Cement Industry Annual Yearbook. In addition, the intern may assist analysts with various ad hoc analysis and reports.


Essential Skills and Experience

Education: Pursuing Bachelor's degree in: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics

Experience: Must be enrolled in a 4 year degree program beyond Freshman level.

Skills/Knowledge:


  1. Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office with emphasis on Excel.
  2. Strong communication skills.

Working Conditions

Position is fully remote; but candidates in the Chicago area are preferred for monthly in-person meetings.
