Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTriStarr’s client, is looking to bring on a Bookkeeper to join their team on a consulting basis in Manheim, PA.

JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper

• Open & date stamp incoming mail; distribute to proper persons
• Post outgoing mail for the day
• Check email
• Print & file customer invoices daily
• Distribute customer invoices as requested
• Code and enter all vendor invoices into computer for payment
• File paid vendor invoices
• Call vendors to report damages/shortages on incoming purchase orders
• Monitor customers' past due invoices
• Process weekly check run for payment of vendor invoices
• Process manual credit card payments from customers as needed
• Take miscellaneous check/cash deposits to Fulton Bank
• Enter receipt of purchase orders into computer
• Close Sales/AR/AP monthly and at year end in accounting software program
• Send monthly reports and documents to Accountants
• Monthly review open orders report to be sure all orders have been verified
• Process company credit card statement monthly and transfer to accounts payable
• Maintain customer file of tax exemption certificates
• Fulfill requests for company W-9 form, sales tax exemption certificates &
credit reference requests by outside vendors for our customers
• Process credit memos when needed
• File purchase orders when all products have been received
• Run monthly statements for customers and mail/email as required
• Set up new vendor accounts in computer as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably in medical
SKILLS REQUIRED:
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp to Hire
START DATE: pending interviews but sooner rather then later
PAY RATE:$21-$24
HOURS:8am-5pm with hour lunch
