This role will have meaningful impact on the implementation and evolution of these innovative tools via testing and data governance. AI models require advanced testing approaches to ensure continued accuracy, and the data underlying.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous measurement of accuracy across multiple facets of the tool
  • Continuous updating of testing approaches based on new information/data
  • Development of automated testing program to provide a regular “control chart” for accuracy
  • Achieve earlier awareness of issues so that releases have fewer bugs discovered during UAT
  • Lead formal testing for releases
  • Coordination for usability testing that identifies nonintuitive UX issues
  • Support advancement of data governance program through policy/standard reviews, maturity model assessments, and establishing a data marketplace
  • Achieve aspiration to spend 90% focus on data issue prevention and 10% on resolving issues
  • Implementation of automated data health monitoring by delivering data quality procedures

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years' experience in data management, software testing, or polymer science/engineering
  • Familiarity with engineering materials, their applications, and material properties
  • Familiarity with material test methods and their relevance to application requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile project management
  • Experience with software development
  • Experience with cloud data governance tools like Power BI, Tableau, Informatica, Collibra, or equivalent
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or equivalent
