Job Title: Horizontal Construction Engineer

As a Horizontal Construction Engineer in the Army National Guard, you will play a crucial role in the construction process. Your primary responsibility will be to operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers and roadgraders to clear the way for construction.

In the Army National Guard, you will learn these valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.

Job training for Horizontal Construction Engineers consists of nine weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field.
