As the on-site, full-time Site Manager at our downtown Chicago (Millennium Park) dermatology practice, you will oversee the daily (admin and clinical) operations of this dermatology practice. You are ensuring that all patients receive high quality, efficient, comprehensive patient care; streamlined and efficient workflows; efficient and correct functioning of the office; and, that staff and providers have the resources they need to provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
You must have at least 2+ years of actual leadership / management experience of overseeing all aspects of a medical office or clinic in the healthcare environment, specifically a dermatology clinic (office). We are looking for actual / hands-on management experience In addition, you possess critical thinking skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude. You have strong organizational skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition to a bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience, you are familiar with third-party payer systems: Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and Department of Health programs.
Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited, conducting staffing (recruitment) interviews; monitoring the training and development of all new hires; conducting introductory period meetings to review performance (weekly); reviewing clinical schedules daily to assure accuracy; performing performance coaching for staff; scheduling of staff, including PTO coverage; creating and adjusting provider templates/blocks as directed by physician site leader; monitoring task queue for outstanding items; monitoring daily patient flow, assisting when needed; contacting resources for equipment maintenance or replacement; assisting in building maintenance or repairs; ordering of clinical/clerical supplies; supporting monthly/quarterly inventory documentation; facilitating daily huddles; distributing mail; ensuring end of day function are completed including daily batch closing and bank deposits; promoting VSD’s core values as a team leader; and, performing other duties assigned.

We are located at 150 N. Michigan Avenue.
