Job Overview:

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for flexible work opportunities? Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Care Plan Management: Help develop and update individualized care plans for residents.
  • Team Supervision: Guide and oversee the work of CNAs and other healthcare staff.
  • Medical Procedures: Perform routine medical procedures such as catheterizations, tracheostomy care, and tube feedings.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, medications, and treatments.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure top-notch care.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as an advocate for residents, addressing and resolving any concerns or issues.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses.
  • Resident Education: Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatments, and medications.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of NJ.
  • Current and valid CPR license.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
  • Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
