Hadco Metal products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjet, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears.
Hadco Metal Trading branches are located strategically in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Philadelphia, Texas, and Washington, with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West allowing a nationwide presence and coverage.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00AM-7:00PM
Quality Control Receiving Inspector Summary:
Responsible for quality inspection of incoming material and ensuring customer specifications are met throughout all stages of processing. Must have experience with reading work orders and identifying additional customer requirements and notes for accurate processing.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Inspect the quality and acceptability of purchased materials utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers/calipers, measuring tapes, and math skills.
- Inspect material throughout all stages of processing customers’ orders.
- Verify work orders and additional customer specifications assuring adherence throughout all stages of material processing.
- Identify and resolve all discrepancies by working directly with warehouse operations and management.
- Participate and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Quality Control Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality inspection role.
- Experience in managing quality throughout each stage of material processing to meet specific customer requirements.
- Strong basic math skills and sound knowledge of measuring equipment such as micrometers and/or calipers.
- Ability to manage certification paperwork and accurately enter information into company computer ERP system.
- Must have a “can-do attitude” and willing to commit to the integrity and growth of Hadco Metals.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
