Job Summary

Our Receptionists aka Customer Experience Specialists are the first and last impression for all of our customers while ensuring they have a ridiculously awesome experience when doing business with AstroWatt Electric.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promptly answer the phone and return all voicemails.
  • Respond to all emails, texts, and online inquiries from customers.
  • Schedule each customer that reaches out for a service call.
  • Pull permits and schedule inspections with local municipalities
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to implement new initiatives.
  • Follow up with customers after their work is complete to ensure they are 100% satisfied.
  • Ability to communicate with customers via phone and email. 
  • Focused on delivering a ridiculous awesome customer experience every time.
  • Work in the office from approximately 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.


Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Valid Driver's License in the State of North Carolina
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Technology savvy
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products and web-based applications
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to provide feedback & new initiatives for the company.
  • Excellent communication skills (email and phone)
  • 100% people focused - we strive to provide the best employee and customer experience in the industry.
  • Knowledge in home service businesses is a plus.
  • Experience working in offices for electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC is a plus.
