We are looking for a Bar Prep Attendant to join our team as we continue our quest to Change the World Through the Power of Food At Jaleo, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences with our expertly crafted cocktails and vibrant atmosphere. We’re seeking a dedicated Bar Prep Assistant to join our team and support our bar operations by ensuring everything is prepped and ready for a successful service.


What we would like from you:
  • Batch cocktails and prepare drink ingredients according to our recipes and standards.
  • Juice fresh citrus and make syrups, macerates, and other bar essentials.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Perform other prep tasks as needed to support bar operations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Abilities & Working Conditions
• This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
•Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests and employees.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
•Required to work nights, holidays and weekends.
